I’m Leah

I once watched a father see his daughter in her dress for the first time.

He didn't say a word. He just put his hand to his chest with tears in his eyes.

That’s why I do this.

I became a wedding photographer because I realised I had this strange privilege, to be in the room for moments that families will talk about for the rest of their lives. I believe photographs are one of the few things in life that actually get more valuable with time. Not less.

My approach is built around ease. Calm, unhurried, and completely present. My style is classic, and romantic, capturing the beauty found in real connection. Every image is created with care and intention, preserving the emotion and elegance of each moment.

As a mum of two girls, I’m deeply inspired by the women I photograph. I hope that one day my daughters will feel as beautiful, confident, and loved on their wedding day as the brides I have the privilege of capturing.

If you want a photographer who will show up for your day the same way a trusted friend would, with warmth, skill, and complete dedication, I think we will get along just fine.

MY PHILOSOPHY

The way I work is rooted in three things
A pair of elegant high-heeled shoes with floral embroidery are balanced on a black, faceted sculpture or pedestal, all in black-and-white.

01

connection

Photography begins with people. I focus on building a genuine connection with every couple I work with, creating a space where you can relax, be yourselves, and feel seen. When you feel comfortable and present, your emotions come through naturally, and every image captures not just a moment, but the energy and intimacy of your relationship.

02

Authenticity

Every love story is unique, and your photographs should reflect that truth. I look for the moments that are real, the unplanned details that make your day yours. My approach is unobtrusive, letting life unfold as it will, so your gallery tells a story that feels effortless, personal, and entirely authentic.

03

passion

I bring wholehearted passion to every wedding, elopement, or portrait session I photograph. From planning the moments to capturing them, I immerse myself in the day and the story you’re sharing. This dedication ensures every frame is crafted with care, intention, and the joy that comes from celebrating love in its many beautiful forms.

EDITING STYLES

Signature.

My signature edit is the heart of my work. Warm, true to colour, and built to last. Each image is carefully refined to feel natural and luminous, never over-processed. Skin tones are honoured, light is preserved in its most flattering form, and the mood of your day is held exactly as it was. Classic without being cold. Romantic without being heavy. This is the edit that decades from now, will feel just as timeless as it does today.

Film Inspired.

For those who are drawn to the softness and soul of analog photography, the Film Inspired edit brings that distinctive quality to your digital gallery. Rich shadows, lifted blacks, and a beautifully muted colour palette work together to create images that feel as though they were born from a roll of 35mm. There's a warmth and grain to this edit that digital alone can't replicate — it adds a layer of romance and nostalgia that makes already emotional images feel deeply cinematic.

Black & White.

Some moments are best told without colour. Where light, shadow, and raw emotion take centre stage. My black and white edit is refined and intentional, not simply a desaturated image but a considered conversion that brings depth and drama to each frame. This style is timeless by nature and endlessly powerful. The kind of image that stops you mid-scroll and makes you feel something. It pairs beautifully alongside your colour gallery, adding contrast and an heirloom quality that will only grow more meaningful with time.
