FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Booking early is recommended to secure a preferred date. Ideally, weddings should be booked 9–12 months in advance, while elopements and couple sessions can be reserved 3–6 months ahead. Early planning ensures availability and allows time to prepare for a seamless experience.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE BOOK?

DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes, often and happily. Whether it’s within Western Australia, elsewhere across the country, or even further abroad, photographing in new locations is always exciting. Every place brings its own character and energy, and capturing couples in both familiar and unfamiliar surroundings adds a unique dimension to the story of the day.

DO YOU GIVE DIRECTION WHILE TAKING PHOTOS?

Yes, but only in ways that help you feel comfortable and connected. The goal isn’t to over-pose or interrupt natural moments, but to gently guide when needed, offering subtle direction that feels natural. This approach allows real emotions and spontaneous movement to shine, while giving just enough guidance to help you feel confident and at ease in front of the camera.

    Clare + Kristen

  • "Leah did both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and was so lovely & easy to work with. Her calm presence and warm energy added to our day so much, and she helped us feel so at ease when both of us aren't too comfortable in front of the camera."
